The World's Highest Tides
The Bay of Fundy - New Brunswick
enjoy the world's highest tides
The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world, rising up to an incredible 14 metres (48 feet) high. The gravitational pull of the sun and moon causes tides that rise and fall twice a day - every day. With every tide, 100 cubic kilometers of water enters or exits the Bay of Fundy.
