Magnolia Heart Wreath
This wreath is an easy to make and economical craft activity project for kids and great gift for Valentine's Day.
TO MAKE THIS MAGNOLIA HEART WREATH YOU WILL NEED:
- Brown wired paper ribbon (or any other ribbon you like)
- Willow and grapevine heart wreath, 18" across
- 1 silk magnolia blossom and leaves
- 1 red grape pick with leaves, 18" long
- 1 berry pick with leaves, 12" long
- Floral wire
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. With ribbon make a 6-loop bow with four 7" loops and two 5" loops.
2. For bow tails, cut a 62" piece of ribbon. Measure 18" from one end and pinch. Wire at that pinched point to bow.
3. Attach bow at top center of heart wreath. Let right tail (the shorter one) hang free. Cut end on a slant.
4. Wrap longer tail around heart frame, using photograph as a guide. Stop at bottom center. Turn end of ribbon under and glue from back to secure.
5. Attach ends of berry pick and grape pick at center of bow, letting ends trail down.
6. Attach magnolia blossom at center of bow.
