Russian Iced Tea
This recipe for iced tea makes 6 servings, but you can easy increase a recipe yield to meet your party needs.
Ingredients:
6 cups of strong tea, cooled
6 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons rum or brandy
6 slices lemon
12 teaspoons frozen (preserved) strawberries, raspberries or cherries
Ice cubes
Directions:
1. Prepare strong tea of your choice, season with sugar and cool in the fridge.
2. Place ice in the tall glasses, add 2 teaspoons of frozen or preserved fruit, 1 tablespoon of rum or brandy and cooled tea.
3. Garnish with slices of lemon.
4. Serve immediately.
Makes 6 servings.
