Whether
you're 2 or 102, there's something for every age group; there's Beaver
Creek Children's Theme Park - a dedicated themed safe haven for young
children
and their families, through to the extreme white knuckle experiences of
the Pepsi Max Big One and Valhalla for those adrenalin seekers, to
leisurely
cruises around the River Caves or a trip on the world's first
commercial
monorail, making the Blackpool
Pleasure
Beach® the perfect fun
destination
for everyone.
The Pepsi Max
Big One a 213ft tall steel coaster (built in 1994), was the tallest
rollercoaster
in Europe until 2002. Instead of free rides and a fee to enter,
entrance
is free to Blackpool, but each ride cost a small fee.

Beyond the Theme Parks: Exploring Central
Florida (Hardcover) - Part tour guide and part
historical resource, this book will be useful
both to visitors and to residents, old and new, of central Florida.
Brotemarkle, an Orlando radio host, has won journalism awards for his
coverage of central Florida history and culture. His in-depth research
is immediately apparent, as is his plea for historic preservation.
Small historic towns that get only one paragraph in most travel guides
are each given a lengthy chapter here, complete with footnotes.
Appendixes include a complete listing of local arts groups, historic
sites in the region, and a calendar of annual arts and cultural
festivals.
Roller Coaster: Wooden and Steel Coasters,
Twisters and Corkscrews (Hardcover) - If you love roller
coasters, this is a great book. It has awsome pictures and some great
stuff about the history of the roller coaster. It is a couple years old
so of course it is missing several of the
latest and greatest coasters. Unfortunately it is all but impossible
for a coaster book to be update with the rapid additions and changes in
the coaster world.
