Grilled
Large Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb (454 g) large peeled
shrimp, uncooked
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Tabasco
sauce
3 tablespoons olive
oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons cold water
1 teaspoon Vegeta
dry soup base
Preparation:
- In a medium
bowl stir together all ingredients for marinade.
- Toss shrimp in
mixture.
- Preheat barbecue to
medium heat. Grease barbecue rack lightly with olive oil.
- Place shrimp on
barbecue rack and reserve marinade.
- Barbecue shrimp for about 5
minutes or until opaque, brushing continuously with reserved marinade.
- Serve with your favorite salad
and garlic bread.
Makes 4 servings.
Note: If
you don't have barbecue rack, place shrimp on skewers to prevent them
from falling through grill.
