Do you ever wonder why some people edge better than others? Do you ever wonder how some people live longer, live better than others, seemingly defying the passage of time? People who are the same calendar age are often different ages biologically. “They’ve learned how to slow the pace of aging – even reverse it.” The answer is simple, says Dr. Michael Roizen, author of the bestselling book: “Real Age: Are You As Young As You Can Be?” and Oprah guru. Roizen translates groundbreaking medical research into a series of calculations and choices that promise to reduce age-linked symptoms and diseases. He believes we can all do the same. “Only 30 per cent of aging is genetic,” he says. “The rest is determined by environmental factors and physical behaviours. Some behaviours make as older, some make us younger.” Thousands of Americans are younger today than they were five years ago. How is that possible? By following the specific recommendations that reverse aging in Dr. Michael Roizen’s bestselling book. In Real Age, Roizen tell us how to assess our own biological age, then outlines 44 scientifically proven steps that can help us improve or reverse our own aging trajectory.
